Point-to-point Ridgeline hike Las Trampas 8 mile rigorous

When look at the Las Trampas hills from Danville, do you know what you are looking at? Do you know it on such a deep personal level that you can image the view from each of the peaks you see? Let's get to know the Las Trampas Ridgeline up close and personal. We'll be hiking point-to-point--so there is carpool involved--READ CAREFULLLY.
We will MEET at the Hemme Parking lot, where we will park and leave most of the cars. Everyone will jump into 2 or 3 cars together and carpool to the START of the hike at Elsworthy Ranch. We'll hike the ridge 8.1 miles back to our cars in Alamo. 1-2 nice people will need to drive the first set of drivers back to their cars in S.Danville.
This hike is dog friendly--however trying to carpool with dogs isn't dog friendly. If it's really important you bring your four-legged hiking buddy, feel free to use the comments section of the event to see if you can find 2 people who would be willing to carpool people with dogs (and drive you back to your starting car). Otherwise, we will assume it's you just coming.

Please pack water and use the restroom before as we won't see either of these on the trail. This is a rigorous hike, please make sure you are up for it.
