Fantastic tribute concerts@bandstand in Unionville! Thursdays, Aug 3 to Sept 14

Hi everyone!

The fantastic Unionville Thursday Night concert series@ the Bandstand is coming up, starting on August 3rd, until mid September, except for Aug 17th. Do join us in the lovely town of Unionville in Markham, just north of Hwy 7 and east of Warden on Main Street, for 6 different meeting dates and various bands performing, this year’s lineup includes tributes to: ABBA, Tina Turner, Eagles, Elton John, Bee Gees and Motown!! We will meet early in the evening to get seats, you can bring your own food or buy something in town on Main Street.

RAIN PLAN FOR UNIONVILLE:
Mtg time is 545 to 6pm; if raining at this time, we will meet instead at the Unionville Arms pub at 189 Main Street, (1 ½ blocks north of the bandstand and across the street) for a drink and or a bite to eat; we will reassess closer to the starting time of the concert, and see around 645pm if it’s raining or not. Concert normally runs from 730pm to 9pm or so.
We will make a final decision at 730pm if the concert will happen or not.
Otherwise, we can schmooze inside the pub, from 545pm to 8pm or so;
Pls ask the hostess for Lisa’s group when you arrive.

Aug 3rd: ABBA revisited

Aug 10th: Elton Rohn

Aug 17th: NO concert here; go to concert at Edward's Gardens instead

Aug 24th: Epic Eagles

Aug 31st: ( Simply the Best—Tina Turner tribute)**We will meet instead for a dinner party at United Baker's Dairy Restaurant in T.O.

Sept 7th: Night Fever—Bee Gees tribute

Sept 14th: Magic of Motown

Each concert is scheduled for 730 to 9pm, outdoors in the square/at the Bandstand. Seats will fill up around 6pm or so!!!

Free parking on side streets and in lots, will be very busy,,,main street will be blocked off for the concerts.

Plan:** Meet us in the Square on Main Street at 545 to 615/630pm in order to get seats; if you are late you will have to stand up or bring your own chairs. Pls look for me on the right side facing the stage, about 5 or 6 rows from the front. If you don’t see me, pls call or text me!! 647 548 8765.
