Stacktrace Berlin RC.2 - Oliver Seemann, ADSPERT

Dear Friends!

we are looking forward to welcome you for the second 'release candidate' of Stacktrace Berlin on the 3rd of April 2014, 7pm at the fabulous Deutsche Telekom hub:raum Space.

webcrowd and hub:raum invited Oliver Seemann, Head of Development at adspert. Oliver is part of adspert since the first days three years ago and will share insights with us on the following topics:

• Scaling: Data Partitioning with Multiple Databases

• Infrastructure: Virtualization vs. Bare Metal

• Managing complexity

Their technology stack is mainly based on Python and PostgreSQL (with terabytes of data). On the frontend they mainly use jQuery and Bootstrap and for deployment and operations they use puppet, nagios, fabric, a.o.
