NatureWorks Soup Hike with The Friends of Presqu'ile Park

Please join me for the NatureWorks Soup Hike organized by The Friends of Presqu'ile Park.

Their first event of the year takes place Saturday February 18th , with the annual NatureWorks Soup Hike. It goes from 1:00 pm to about 4:00 pm. There will be a 60 to 90 minute walk followed by soup and hot chocolate in the lunch room where there will be a small power point presentation at the same time. The Soup Hike this year will be presented by long-time Presqu’ile naturalist, research scientist, and super enthusiastic guy – Phil Careless. Walk, Dinner and a Movie anyone?

Anyway this walk is a fundraiser for the Friends NatureWorks program so there is a small fee - $2/person or $5/family. On the other hand the park entrance fee is waived for this event.

Registration is required with The Friends of Presqu'ile Park, so that they know how much soup to make. Chef Thomas will have a selection of soups available.
