The Visualization of Cultural Data

Come join us at the Prince George Chamber of Commerce for our very first Think Tank Meetup in Prince George!

Travis White will be joining us to talk about the visualization of cultural data and how novel insights can be gleaned about a particular time, place, or aspect of society by a computational look at the relationships between the people, places, and events involved. Travis' talk will be based on an ongoing research study by Ryerson University and the UBCO Humanist Data Lab at UBCO.

After the talk we will have a Q&A, then some great networking time to get to know each other over coffee, tea, and snacks.
