PrideFest Activism - Day 1

Join the Vegan Society at our booth at Colorado Springs PrideFest! We are looking for volunteers to help inspire compassionate and healthy choices. We'll be passing out free vegetarian starter kits and using the power of video to expose the truth with pay-per-view stations. We'll pay $1 to each person who watches the 4 minute video, Farm to Fridge. Nearly 200 people lined up to watch this documentary at last year's PrideFest! The crowd is very receptive and a ton of fun.

Narrated by Academy Award-nominee James Cromwell, Farm to Fridgeis a short documentary film that takes viewers on an eye-opening exploration behind the closed doors of the nation’s largest industrial poultry, pig, dairy and fish farms, hatcheries, and slaughter plants. This powerful film has already been seen by millions of people around the world, inspiring many to ditch meat, milk, and eggs in favor of healthy and humane vegan alternatives.

Volunteers are needed to help staff our educational outreach booth both days.
