Mensa Monthly Gathering

Second Friday of the month. Meet fellow Mensans (or soon to be fellow Mensans) listen to a good talk, engage in spirited debate, play games. We typically have 25-40 members and guests in attendance. Drinks and snacks provided. Members $7, Nonmembers $10, Children ages 6-12 $5, Children under 6 free. RSVP appreciated but not required.

Dr. Alan D. Schmidt will present the 2018 Nobel Prize in Chemistry on the Directed Evolution of Enzymes. Random mutations with directed evolution have produced biofuels, pharmaceuticals, combated autoimmune diseases and cured metastatic cancer.
Costume contest: come as your favorite scientist, real or fictional.
