Speaker Bios:

Andreas Thienemann

Andreas Thienemann is a long time CentOS contributor, Fedora enthusiast and connoisseur of all things Linux. His primary focus areas include InfoSec, large scale system architecture, DevOps and travel hacking. You can find him on Twitter as @i_x_s or on Freenode without all those annoying underscores.

KB Singh

KB is the current CentOS Project leader. He's been involved with the project since November of 2004 and is presently a part of the CentOS Admin team, the Infrastructure team and is also responsible for the CentOS Build services. In his Day Job he's been working as a devop, from before when the idea of devops was cool.

KB is an infrastructure operations and admin guy who leans on the development role rather than the other way around. ...

Niels de Vos

Niels is a core-developer and maintainer for Gluster. He is employed by Red Hat and works together with other teams who provide professional support for Red Hat Gluster Storage. The main areas where Niels is active include network protocols, low-level/Operating Systems improvements and integration with other Open Source projects like NFS-Ganesha.

When Niels is not hacking on Open Source software, you are most likely to find him on a squash court or cycling around in the area near Zaandam where he lives.

Other Notes

Many thanks again to our sponsors, IceMobile (http://icemobile.com)!

Reaching IceMobile

The IceMobile office is located at Mensinge 2, 1083 HA in Amsterdam, close to the RAI event venue.

By public transport

RAI station is a short five-minute walk from the office. The station provides train, metro and bus service.

By car

The easiest way of finding the right approach is to use Google Maps or your own navigation system and find what works best. The location is close to the A10, so you might hit traffic on your way in. For parking, the area directly in front of the office is limited to a duration of three hours (the "orange" area). Across the street, you can park for a longer period (the "green" area). Please note: both areas require payment through a meter or one of the available apps.
