SilverStripe Auckland Meetup - March 2017

We promised to hold another meetup in the first quarter of this year for you Aucklanders, so here it is.

Interactively debug and tinker with a sliver of your code: Sam Walsh, Developer of Little Giant, will talk about a small tool he’s hacked together called Sliver. (https://github.com/littlegiant/sliver) Inspired by (read: "blatantly stolen from") Laravel’s Tinker (https://github.com/laravel/tinker) and powered by Psysh (http://psysh.org/), this tool helps you debug and interactively experiment with a sliver of your SilverStripe project. He’ll give us a rundown on why you might want to add this to your developer toolbox, how to get it set up and how to start using it.

Painting outside the lines with SilverStripe: Dylan Wagstaff, Support Developer of SilverStripe, will open up your mind on how to use SilverStripe not just as a CMS but also a framework with the development flexibility suitable for more demanding application level projects.

Introducing the new CWP themes: Oly Su, Developer of SilverStripe, will give you a first look at the upcoming new and shiny Common Web Platform themes. New elegant design with improved frontend features for happier developers and agencies.
