First Saturday Sewing

Hi friends!

Join us for an OPEN SEW on Saturday!

• Bring a sewing machine if you can, or share one of our communal machines (we always have at least one extra around)
• Feel free to use our assortment of scrap fabric and thread
• Beginners are WELCOME! We are here to help.
• You are welcome to use the time to work on an existing project, pick from some quick-sew templates we bring along, or follow along with Sophia depending on what she's making that day!

About The Space
The Derita Design Makerspace is an amazing creative space tucked away in a residential community. We have a sign out front along the road on event days that encourages you to follow the driveway to the back where the maker space is. There is enough parking for around 10 cars.

Why $10 Admission?
Admission goes to funding the makerspace so that it may continue to grow and become an amazing resource for our community. Isn't that marvelous? :)
