First event is hump day pau hana at Proof Social Club! Located in the heart of downtown Honolulu and a few blocks from Chinatown. It is a down-to-earth bar with exceptional pizza and cocktails, even mocktails for those sensitive to alcohol. If you are a history buff the bar is housed in the old Blaisdell Hotel built in 1912 by architects Emory & Webb and the cost to reserve a room in 1968 was $5.75! While that cost may not pay for a hotel room anywhere in Hawaii but it's enough to buy a piece of pizza at Proofs either cheese or pepperoni. Come join and make a new friend surrounded by good spirits, food, and old charm.
