This time we will host Noah Pierau who will give us the best presentation ever! After the event, you will know everything about Decred.

So what exactly is Decred?

Decred is an autonomous digital currency. With a hybrid PoW/PoS blockchain, it is built to be a decentralized, sustainable, and self-ruling currency where stakeholders make the rules. Its innovative consensus voting model empowers the community and allows for the seamless transition from one set of rules to another. Decentralized decision making and self-funding have enabled it to build a robust, evolving digital currency, free from third party influence.

Speakers

Noah Pierau is Decred’s Community Coordinator, an ideal role for him as an early investor in the project and now a champion who makes sure that the voice of everyday investors is heard. Prior to Decred, he has been a community-facing volunteer at the United Nations. He has also served in a variety of technical roles, building bridges between developers and end-users. Noah believes that the secret of most successful projects is having a strong, engaged community.
