Read & Discuss two books for BATMAN MONTH!

The first reboot of the Minneapolis Comic Book Club has happened (sorry if you missed it) and we voted to read two CLASSIC Batman books for this next "Batman Month" meetup. They are: Batman: The Long Halloween, and Batman: The Killing Joke.

These two books should be awesome. Released in 1988 and 1996, they have stood the test of time as classic, excellent examples of the Batman body of comic art. Like a previous overview of Superman several months ago, we will have a lot to talk about. For both the specific two graphic novel comic collections, and also how they fit into the overall "Batman universe", of everything ever printed or released concerning the caped crusader.

Read the two basic books, and bring all your accumulated knowledge to share, discuss, and compare opinions about this seminal icon of the comic book world.

We are suggesting a monthly, 4th Wednesday meeting at a time of 8pm to 9pm. The store will be quiet then, Julia will be off work behind the counter, and we will be able to meet and talk until closing at 10pm if we so chose.
