This is a life drawing open studio, with a live model. No instructor is provided, although the moderator may do a 20-minute demo upon request.

This is a self-guided class that begins with short poses for gesture drawing and moves into longer poses for fuller sketches or full drawings. Work at your own pace. Attendees must be 18 years or older (nude model). We meet at Alabama Contemporary Art Center, members and non-members are welcome!

And you don't have to be a seasoned artist. Benefits of life drawing include:

We all aim to inspire one another through drawing from life. Some of us have art backgrounds, while others enjoy the relaxation and stress relief drawing provides. Everyone is welcome to join in!

You can register and pay through the provided link or email Daya at dayajnaef@gmail.com. Additionally, please bring $20 in cash and a bit extra in case fewer people attend the session. Any extra money will go towards covering direct expenses for both present and future events; the organizer is not paid.
