19:00 uur Building UI's quickly with microfrontends by Tom Rozendaal

With microservices we break up backend monoliths into separate modules, and in doing so we dramatically improve the ability to change applications. Likewise, and for the same reason, we can split up a frontend monolith into parts. The good news is that building microfrontends is a lot easier and quicker than building microservices, as will be demonstrated during this talk.

Running Java applications in a container is not without challenges. Think slow startup times and bloated memory usage. In this presentation, we will demonstrate how to create super fast and super small container native Java apps with the help of RedHat's Quarkus and GraalVM.
