Technology and Tacos T1D Meetup
Tuesday, June 25th - 6-9pm (first hour is the tech part)
Come to either or both!
A two-part meetup starting with an explanation of “looping” also known as DIY automated insulin pump (known by some as an Artificial Pancreas) followed by a taco fest! While this will not be a detailed workshop bring questions and 'loopers' (myself included) will try to answer them at the end of the discussion.
6-7pm Technology section - Justus/others will talk about the pros/cons of using the automated system, general setup and technologies like smart insulin pens. Take the DiabetesWise quiz if you are interested to see what options might fit your preferences.
7-9pm Tacos EAT TACOS, HAVE FUN, DRINK or NOT = )
