daylight saving north route is back!!
for new riders that havent ridden it before. new route is 23.5mi long w/1450ft. we head out north like the Wed route. which is Expo, Bull Creek, to Shoal Creek. then well take Steck across MoPac and come back on the westside, coming down Mesa cutting through the neighborhood through Mt. Bonnell area and Terry Town area. final stretch is Lake Austin Blvd from Hula Hut back to start.
cautionary note!! on Lake Austin Blvd. whether you choose the bike path or lane of traffic, stay there!! since the ive been lead this route for 2yrs. there has been 3-4 crashes(not to mention other riders outside our group) in the gap between the cement path and the lane of traffic.
remember to bring LIGHTS, a HELMET, and everything you might need. we usually stop to eat need end of route.
