Drupal is a powerful open source web technology that allows users to create dynamic, flexible websites capable of filling all manner of needs. It’s like Legos for the web. Join us for our day-long introductory Drupal workshop, where we will start from nothing and walk through the steps of building a small business website. This class is geared toward entry-level students with little-to-no experience with Drupal or any other Content Management System (CMS). Bring your curiosity and your computer, and be ready to learn what you can build with Drupal.

The session will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 3rd, where we will cover the basics of what Drupal is and how to begin putting it to use. We will break for lunch at noon (attendees are on their own for lunch; there are plenty of great places to eat in the area). We will get back together at 1:30 PM to cover the rest of our topics, for Q&A, and general Drupal-related discussion.

Learn to Build a Website with Drupal is provided by the Charlotte Drupal User Group and facilities are provided by Classic Graphics (http://knowclasssic.com).

Note: It is perfectly fine to RSVP for the event on meetup.com, but please make sure to register at Eventbrite (http://learndrupal.eventbrite.com) so we know who to expect.
