Speaker : Yash Gandhi, Head of Data Science @ HelpShift

Topic: Building Awesome Data Science Products and Teams

Speaker Bio: Yash Gandhi is the Head of Data Science at Helpshift, where his team drives state-of-the-art research in Text analysis, Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing. Outside work, he mentors data science teams at a couple of early stage startups. Yash is an alum of Purdue University and BITS Pilani.

Speaker : Shraddha Surana, Senior Data Scientist @ Thoughtworks

Topic - Price Optimisation

Speaker Bio: I am a data scientist and consultant at Thoughtworks. I have a keen interest in data science, machine learning and the brain. I have completed my Masters in Technology with major in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning where my thesis involved detecting network intrusions using fuzzy clustering and artificial neural networks.

I have worked on various business domain projects like price optimisation, predicting customer churn, text analytics, route optimisation problems, chat bots. Currently I am working in a research project in the Astrophysics domain. I like music and dance; and often start my holidays thinking about completing my painting.
