On-line marketer and SEO consultant Will Knox will talk about how Google assigns relevance values to sites, resulting in the "page rank" that everyone is chasing. After that, we'll have a Q&A session, so bring your SEO and on-line marketing questions.

Will Knox entered the Search Engine Marketing industry in 2009, just when it was starting to become affordable for small businesses. Having worked in sales for two years, Will began his SEM career as a salesman for another SEO professional. Finding he had a natural talent for understanding the thought processes of the search algorithms and believing he could deliver better quality service to his clients, Will struck out on his own in 2010 and founded Big Blue Bear Consulting. Recognizing the benefit of working within a vertical, Will focused on helping small and medium sized businesses in Northern Virginia’s home improvement industry take advantage of the power of on-line marketing. Today, Will has a full-time job managing the on-line marketing at Frugal Rooter Plumbing & Drain, a plumbing company based in Manassas, Virginia, but still uses his off time to develop tools for organic marketing focused in the Washington DC area. Will lives with his wife, Allison in Prince William County, VA.
