Redwood Road

We've been a way for a while, but now we are BACK. Redwood Road, in the East Bay, has also been a way for a while, and now it's BACK. Coincidence? Let's find out by riding it.

12:00 ish - stop for lunch at Canyon Club, Moraga

Route overview: we are going to head out along Niles Canyon, but we will turn left along Palomares road. At the end of Palomares we make our way through the sprawling metropolis that is Castro Valley, before heading on to like Pinehurst and Grizzly Peak. After Grizzly Peak area we head back to Moronga to get some lunch. Probably somewhere like Canyon Club brewery.

Stay close, but not too close, give a little distance.
Watch the bike behind you, if they stop, please also stop.
No wheelies. Sorry.
Palomares has speed bumps on it, but they have the channels. Easy on a two wheeler, on a three wheeler you just have to make do. We usually aim to have the rear wheel go through the channel.
Castro Valley is faintly annoying to ride through. We will take it easy there, if you get stuck at traffic lights don't stress, we will wait for you. It may not be until we get through the town.
We will go past Grizzly Peak, and will stop there if there is space for us all. If it does not look safe then we will carry on.
