As Agentic AI, copilots, and connected AI ecosystems become trusted participants inside enterprise environments, they introduce new identity, data, and supply chain risks that traditional monitoring was never designed to handle. Every breach contains valuable lessons, yet too few of those lessons are shared with the wider cybersecurity community. This talk explores what detection engineering really is, why we continue to investigate the same problems in isolation, and how better visibility can help us understand this new generation of threats.
