The Kiva Prayer Lodge is an evening ceremony in a circular underground earth kiva. In the center is a sacred fire. The structure of the ceremony is designed to provide participants a structure to perform their individual practices. It is open to all forms of communion with the divine realm, provided it can be done within the kiva.
All faiths and practices of divine communion are welcome. We gather for lodge at 7:30pm and arriving a little early will allow us to start and end on time. The time of completion ranges from 11pm to midnight. we request all who participate to remain until completion.
After the ceremony, a shared feast is done to complete the ceremony. Bring something that will not require additional cooking. We can keep things cool though and an insulated container can keep things hot.
A monetary love offering will help with with upgrade and upkeep of the Kiva, but it's not mandatory, we are old school, no pay for pray.
