About us
My goal is to climb as many of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains as possible. Along the way, I've realized that challenges such as accessibility, transportation costs, experience level, and safety can make that goal difficult to achieve alone.
While joining a hiking group can help overcome many of these obstacles, I was surprised to find that there were very few groups dedicated specifically to the 100 Famous Mountains, especially for English-speaking hikers. That's what inspired me to create this community.
I know there are many hikers out there who share the same dream: exploring Japan's most iconic peaks, checking mountains off the list one by one, and creating unforgettable memories along the way. Whether you're a seasoned mountaineer or just starting your journey, this group is a place to connect with like-minded adventurers, share knowledge, split travel costs, hike more safely, and find reliable hiking buddies.
