SORRY THIS EVENT IS NOW POSTPONED UNTIL MAY

Come join a nature circle within the beautiful spaces of Reddish Vale Country Park. A chance to reconnect your senses and your soul to the rhythm of the seasons. The circle will involve a number of grounding meditations, mindfulness and Shinrin Yoku (forest bathing) . The theme of the session is around nurturing and new growth .We will be taking opportunities for self exploration using creativity with natural materials and Eco- Arts therapy practices . We shall be moving gently through a community garden, a beech woodland and a visit to the Tame River , sitting in a number of different spaces on route. Please wrap up warm!! bring a blanket and something to sit on. I will be bringing teas for the end of session but please bring yourself other refreshments or even snacks to share with others afterwards.
things to consider.... the ground at Reddish Vale can be muddy and uneven in places, please wear boots. Our planned route has no steep inclines so is fairly accessible for people with mobility issues although there are no wheelchair paths unfortunately . There are toilets at the visitors centre that open about 9.00am. The car park usually has spaces early morning time.
The session has a focus on creativity, wellbeing and self reflection. In consideration of this it is not a session designed with children or young people in mind, there may be sensitive conversations and activities that need quiet reflection and focus. I am in training to become a qualified Eco Therapist with EQE Outdoors .The sessions I am running with the South Manchester Nature Therapy group will be part of my ongoing qualification portfolio building. I will appreciate your time to complete a wellbeing assessment and evaluation forms as part of this. I would be very grateful for repeat attendance therefore I offer a 50% refund( paid back to you via PayPal) if you attend two or more sessions. I am offering this session for £14, this amount helps covers my insurance, Stockport Council fee and material costs.
A bit about me..... I am qualified creative therapist , person centred counsellor and forest bathing guide. My main employment is working as a creative engagement practitioner with a number of charities in Greater Manchester. I am developing my own nature art practice making art with materials found in outdoor locations.
