Tenured professor of Theater, Thomas Schoffler, will help us expand our horizons and learn the benefits of the Alexander Technique, both for ourselves and for working with clients. Alexander Technique principles, such as "non-doing" and awareness of one's whole self, can be useful for coaches as they relate to their clients. In this interactive session we will explore Alexandrian concepts through hands-on exercises in groups and pairs, then apply these ideas to coaching scenarios. Participants will practice ways to remain centered and "in the moment" as they work with clients. Dress comfortably for lots of moving around.
