Members of the new Dublin Amazon Alexa Developers User Group are invited to attend a Launch Event in Dublin, 6th September, 2016.

The event coincides with AWS Dublin Engineering Meetup #15 (http://bit.ly/awsdublin) , hosted in the Button Factory Live Music Venue, Temple Bar.

Ryan Kroonenburg from leading cloud tech training company A Cloud Guru (https://acloud.guru/) will take the stage giving the inaugural talk which will cover key principles of Alexa Skills development. Ryan will also conduct a live demo of Amazon's new free tool to create interactive stories using Echo.

We'll be giving away FREE copies of the new A Cloud Guru course 'The complete beginners guide to developing on Alexa' to members in attendance.

The new user group forms part of the AWS User group Network (https://www.meetup.com/AWS-Ireland-Usergroup/), an organisation founded by AWS users to promote and strengthen the AWS ecosystem from a user standpoint.

A Cloud Guru provides a social online learning platform that already provides AWS certification training for over 90,000 students. It was built from zero to a working MVP in just 20 working days, using AWS Lambda and API Gateway and a serverless architecture.
