Let's paint and draw some vintage and classic cars at the Nethercutt Museum!!
Free lecture!!! One of our members, Aaron, will give us a talk on Basics of Drawing Foundation: Using building block knowledge of cubes and cylinders to lay-in classic cars! 🚙 🚖🏎️ Thanks, Aaron & Athena!
*This is a joint event with our friends at Plein Air Paint and Draw 🎉
The Nethercutt Museum showcases more than 130 of the world’s greatest antique, vintage, classic and special interest automobiles including many top winners of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Just steps outside the Museum are a perfectly restored steam locomotive and a Private Car, which was owned by the eldest daughter of Santa Anita Race Track founder, E.J. “Lucky” Baldwin.
Please note:
No food or open drinks allowed. No backpacks or tripods either. We can leave our backpacks at the front desk. We're allowed to hang out to sketch and draw, and can bring our own portable chairs to get set up comfortably. Admission is FREE TO THE NETHERCUTT MUSEUM itself. The Nethercutt Collection next door has guided tours for a fee.
The museum is located at:
15151 Bledsoe Street
Sylmar, CA 91342
For general information, call (818) 364-6464.
