Abstract:
This is a 100-200 level session, intended for the managers and technical resources responsible for designing and implementing SharePoint data protection solutions. It discusses the different backup and restore strategies for SharePoint, how these strategies apply to SharePoint High Availability and Disaster Recovery, the implications of protecting externalized content, and practical recommendations for designing an effective SharePoint data protection strategy. This session assumes attendees familiar with both SharePoint and data protection concepts and terminology.
