The Manly Fig is held at Balgowlah Bowling club, Bareena Drive, Balgowlah Heights. The club prefers that you buy your drinks at their bar which will be open from 7 till 8pm then during the two 20 minute breaks. However you can BYO wine and pay $2 corkage per person (paid separately at the door so please bring change).

The Manly Fig is a listening venue so you get to enjoy music at its best. Support the musos; come along with your friends (add them as your plus 1 or 2 etc guest(s) when you RSVP) and enjoy a great night.

Doors open at 7:00pm - starts at 8pm sharp. Finishes by 11pm.

Tickets are $20 payable in cash at the door.

I also charge $2.00 per person in cash payable to me on the night to cover my time & costs in booking tables etc with the venue (exact change please).

You can BYO food and utensils if you wish. However, there is a caterer who provides excellent Mexican food from 7pm. You buy outside & bring your food inside to your table for the show.

Plenty of free parking on the street and in the small carpark out the front of the Bowling Club.

And lastly, I need final confirmation by the Tuesday before the event as the Manly Fig requires me to send them my final seating numbers then. So please confirm with me personally either here in the comments boxes or email me separately by 24 October.

Northern Beaches brothers, Connor and Harry Lambrou have been making waves in the music industry for the last 2 years, recently taking the stage at Byron Bay's 2017 Bluesfest, with their highly distinct blend of genres.

Fusing blues, soul, rock and Indigenous sounds, their music captures the everyday experiences and emotions of life.

With their upcoming album due to be released later this year, "LamBros." have been entertaining audiences with their toe-tapping vibe and infectious passion at venues all across Australia.

Featuring Connor on vocals and guitar, and Harry on percussion, didgeridoo, and backing vocals, the musical brothers promise to deliver a highly memorable experience.

  1. Pat Powell with Project Collective Ska

Pat Powell's career spans more than four decades right across the globe. Hailing from the Jamaican community in Bristol, he toured Europe extensively before moving to Sydney in the 80s. Within a couple of years he was one of Australia's most in-demand studio vocalists.

On tour Pat has supported James Brown, Queen, Eurhythmics, Boy George, Crowded House, Horace Andy and Luciano, Tina Arena and George Benson. He has also toured extensively throughout Australia, Asia & Europe as Kylie Minogue's primary backing vocalist and recorded 15 singles and an album.

At The Fig he is joined by Project Collective Ska, a band with blazing horn section specializing in old-school Jamaican party music from the 50s and 60s
(or "first-wave ska"). They put on unforgettable live shows that never fail to get people up jumping and skanking.

Project Collective Ska formed in 2013 out of Sydney best young and upcoming musicians, who met growing up and playing in an eclectic array of bands -
including afro-beat stars The Liberators, hip-hop collective Sketch the Rhyme, The Hi-Tops Brass Band, The Morrisons, various reggae outfits including
Pat Powell and The Reggae Collective, The Midnight Tea Party and Manalion, The Basement Big Band, ska-punk legends The Porkers and even the
Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
