TridentCon 2016, 8-9 October
Details
TridentCon returns for the third year, bigger and better than ever! Join us for two days of role-playing games for charity.
This year our theme is “Tropical Terrors” - hearkening back to pulp adventures of yesteryear and recalling classic D&D adventures like Isle of Dread, Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan, and Dwellers of the Forbidden City, as well as modern iterations like the Serpent’s Skull adventures for Pathfinder. Dinosaur islands! Ancient cities cloaked by the verdant jungles! Giant carnivorous apes! Windswept deserts! In accordance with the tropical theme, the game-space may have a bit of a tiki-party feel to it...
When thinking about things to run for TridentCon 3, please consider something that dovetails with the theme if possible! This is the time to take up the challenge and run Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan or the Pathfinder Society segments of Serpent’s Skull!
In addition, we are planning a ton of support for the Dungeons & Dragons Adventurers’ League organized play program. We don’t yet know when the first adventures of the new season will be out in October, but we’ve applied for a premiere, so we’ll see what happens. AL DMs in the area should consider TridentCon an opportunity to run DDAL content without the usual time-strictures of in-store play -- you could run both parts of Dark Pyramid of Sorcerer’s Isle or all of Assault on Maerimydra in back-to-back con slots, for example.
TridentCon in pleased to present several special guests in this year...and here they are, with more on the way!
JUST ADDED FOR SATURDAY ONLY: DAVID "ZEB" COOK, D&D legend and Origins Award-winning game designer!
