Scratch is a programming language developed for young kids by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) to learn the basics of programming by creating interactive stories, games and animations. Students need to create their own accounts on the Scratch website (free, https://scratch.mit.edu/) to be able to make projects online using the block-like interface (drag and drop).
