If you couldn't join our world premiere in August 2024, here's what you need to know:

The HiRe format has been around since the end of 2022, started in Hamburg, and deals with topics related to HR & Recruiting. Our speakers discuss the future and current reality of our working world with our community.

Speaker 2: Birgit Amelung - CEO @AWAKE & Founder of HER KLUB

Topic: "From Control to Co-Creation - Why the Future of Leadership is creative"

Birgit Amelung is an (Employer) Brand Building expert, certified Organizational Developer and award-winning former Creative Director. As the CEO of her boutique consulting agency AWAKE, she elevates brands, teams, and organizations by merging strategy, creativity, and organizational development from cultural transformation to campaign execution. She is also co-founder of the female network The HER KLUB and co-hosts the CONNECT TO GROW podcast. Her talk will be about unlocking leadership potential through human centered creativity with methods such as Lego Serious Play and how this can drive organisational success and shape the future of work.

Speaker 3: Jannis Tsalikis - HR Director @Teufel Lautsprecher and "HR Influencer"

Topic: Equal pay? Why men are to blame and how we can finally do better!

Jannis is the HR Director (Europe & China) at Lautsprecher Teufel and a member of the HR INNOVATION AWARD jury. Recognized as an "HR Influencer" (personalmagazin), and the author of HR True Story (together with Eva Stock!), he occasionally speaks on modern HR practices and leadership. Beyond the corporate world, he is dedicated to developing young talent as a coach for junior and women's soccer teams at Club Berolina Mitte in Berlin – a club located just around the corner from this venue.

7 March is Equal Pay Day 2025 - why 7 March 2025? This international day of action for equal pay between the sexes falls on the date up to which women have worked for free since the beginning of the year.
That's crazy, isn't it? In Jannis 12 minutes, you'll find out why he says that men are to blame and what we can do to finally put an end to this discrimination.
