It is possible to have honest, realistic and relevant performance evaluations that both team leads and team members anticipate in a positive way.
I will bring you two case studies in which we built such a system. By using a novel approach we created realistic expectations for the employee and boosted the overall trust in the organization. The system we have built is seen as a tool of retainment in a time when it is difficult and expensive to hire.

Bio:
Orbán Gergely (42) works as a leader, a coach and an organizational developer specialized in leadership and human relations mostly in the IT industry. Currently works tightly with Aliz Tech but contributes to several SMEs and larger companies.

Description: I've built a browser-based t-shirt design service named Instart design (https://instart.design) as a side project. In this talk, I'll explore the new exciting field of hyper customized fashion and tell the story of how I've built the app from scratch to release.

Bio: Tibor Szasz is a software engineer at TransferWise. In his work, he explores the boundaries of creative software, art, and business. When he's not moving money across borders he is probably fiddling with music making apps, riding his bicycle or drinking a beer in a Budapest ruin pub. In his previous job, he helped to change more than 100 people's career to software development as a mentor.
