The Landing + Lovers Leap Loop
Step 1: Meet at the Landing (lots of parking!)
Step 2: Walk together from the Landing to hike 3.5 mile Lovers Leap Loop (cool Wissahickon overlook with graffitied aqueducts)
Step 3: Hang outdoors at the Landing for food and drink post hike (cool outdoor vibes, lawn games + dog-friendly)
DETAILS
Parking or Public Transit:
- There is plenty of parking at the Landing. This is on the Bala Cynwyd side of the river. If it is easier for you to get to the Manayunk side of the river, there is a pedestrian only* bridge from the Manayunk side to the Landing. This is the Pencoyd Bridge. (*Only cars who live in the residential building here can drive across, otherwise pedestrian only)
- The Landing (our meeting point) is less than a 10 min walk from the Wissahickon regional rail stop (Norristown Line)
- Several bus options from the Manayunk side
Meeting Point:
- We'll meet at the Landing, near the pedestrian bridge

The Hike:
- Part of the Wissahickon Yellow trail.

- This is a social hike so no need for speed. Wear appropriate shoes and bring some water. We'll be hiking for about 1.5-2 hours.
