Details

As it is time to start school again, we at tretton37 can not think of a better way to kick-off September than learning about Meta, right?

This talk is perfect for system architects of all backgrounds, front-end, back-end, developers as well as solution designers tackling their next high availability systems.

On ๐™จ๐™š๐™ฅ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™ข๐™—๐™š๐™ง ๐Ÿ“๐™ฉ๐™, the Ljubljana office will be hosting our Swedish ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ชcolleague Per ร–kvist. Per will share how we can avoid a large monolithic system, utilising a set of smaller systems in tight yet decoupled collaboration.

In his talk, Per will introduce SCS (Self-contained Systems), their background, and venture in to how we use this as an approach within an e-commerce solution. His core idea is to break a large system apart into several smaller self-contained systems (or SCSs) that follow a certain rule set.

Each SCS is owned by a team, including the data, logic and UI layer. This micro-service and micro-frontend approach favours asynchronous communication and dynamic UI composition.
