Leisurely Cruise up to the Rock Inn

There is a Shell and I believe Chevron right there on Lyons. K/U at 10:15 - We will head out, not sure what exact route we are going to take but you know its LA, its winter, Its been great weather, so no matter what road we take it will be worth the adventure! We will be having lunch at the Rock Inn up near Lake Hughes. This is a ride standard for our group, nice and smooth route, nice easy riding. We may encounter some winds up in Lake Hughes, but that is to be expected. I know we have a few newer riders out there that have been wanting to join in on a group ride, this is a good one to start up with. For those newer to our group, we are a pretty loose format. We do ride in formation, and we try to keep the ride to the pace of the whole group's abilities. We will always have a lead bike and a "sweep", someone that keeps the group together from behind. We try to keep our pace moderate, often stop for no more reason than to admire the view at a particular spot on a great day. Be sure to check your tire pressure, oil levels, etc before the ride and as always with this time of the year weather will dictate the rides final status. Given we may be heading back into a more winter like pattern this week coming up if the weather looks like rain, we will postpone it.
