IDUG Event on EPUBs with Pariah Burke

The Greater Baltimore Chapter of the Adobe InDesign User Group (BIDUG) is proud to announce our January 22 event titled:

Best Practices for InDesign CS6 EPUB
with Pariah Burke, Live, 6:30–8:20 p.m.
via Adobe Connect from Boston

Join us as we broadcast Pariah’s presentation live in Parsons Auditorium (at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, 11100 Johns Hopkins Road, Laurel, MD, Main Campus, Building 1) during our regular meeting. This event starts at 6 p.m. with networking, pizza, and raffle sales. Purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win InDesign CS6 ($695 value) and/or one 2-day training pass to Zenith-Technology Institute | Ledet Baltimore ($725–995 value). All winners must be registered and be present in the auditorium to win.

In the event of inclement weather, we will update this message if the Adobe IDUG sites are still not available.

Attending the Meeting Via Adobe Connect Session:
Registered BIDUG chapter members can register to attend this event online via Adobe Connect before January 10. After January 10, registration will be opened to non-members. The number of dial-ins is limited, so register early! It is recommended that you register no later than January 15 for your limited-time Connect dial-in passcode if you cannot attend at our usual location.

All Connect and live session attendees will receive complimentary post-event access to the complete video recording of the event. Pariah Burke, internationally known speaker, consultant, author, member of the Adobe Community of Professionals, and leading expert in all things print publishing, epublishing, and tablet publishing, will cover the following points:

• Including and excluding InDesign vector artwork in EPUBs
• Anchoring images with and without captions into place
