Adam Richard
Adam Richard is the co-founder of Sutton Stone, founded the Houston Bitcoin Meetup, is the president of Texas Coinitiative (501(c)(3)), Chief Product Officer of LoveStamp, and is an alumni of Surge Accelerator. Adam’s professional diversity spans roles as a CTO, software engineer, software project manager, start-up adviser/mentor, brand manager, web developer, UX & UI designer, graphic designer, photographer & cinematographer. He enjoys studying decentralized computing applications, cryptography, IT security, integral theory, organization development, and is passionate about seizing opportunities that push the boundaries of technology.
Scott Akers
Scott Akers is a technology commercialization professional focused on the design and implementation of Blockchain Solutions for Industry. Supporting his expertise in blockchain technology, He is founder of Satoshi Square - Texas' first brick-and-mortar Bitcoin Exchange and Resource center, and heads the BitBusiness Meetup in Austin, Texas - a group focused on the commercialization of blockchain technology and alternative Currencies. Previous Professional Experience includes auditor in public accounting and revenue analyst in the oil and gas industry. He received his undergraduate degree in accounting and a masters in technology commercialization from the McComb's School of Business.
Jay Campuzano
Jay Campuzano is the founder of iambitcoin.org, a nonprofit organization for Humankind 2.0 that offers courses in bitcoin programming, Internet of Things, Codelaw, and Artificial Intelligence. Jay is currently studying Computer Science at Rice University.
Attendees will walk away with a base understanding of the bitcoin market, resources for further exploration, and guidance on how to get started using bitcoin.
