Welcome to Wednesday Bachata Classes with Bachata Fuego!

We now offer Bachata monthly progressive series every Wednesday!
Level 1 at 7pm

This course is designed to get you comfortable with Bachata basics and is a great starting point to your Bachata journey. We train partner work, timing, and build a strong foundation for modern styles of Bachata.

Level 2 at 8pm

This course is designed to build confidence on the dance floor. We step into the world of Bachata Moderna with training in turn patterns and shine work. Body movement is introduced as well as basic elements of Bachata Sensual. This is a great class for developing your technical skills and expanding your dancing vocabulary.
A progressive series means that each month we build on the same techniques and concepts to provide the repetition required to gain confidence with the material. The first week we introduce the elements for the month. The following weeks we develop a pattern, move at a faster pace, and we always end with a review day the last week of the month. We offer test days at the end of each quarter to advance through the levels. Level 3 begins in April and dancers are required to test out of levels 1 and 2 to participate.
Drop ins are allowed, however we recommend starting a series within the first two weeks for the most value.

Ladies and gents, wear something comfortable to dance in and also something you would wear to go out downtown. Tops should allow you to lift your arms comfortably. Consider the material as we do sweat in class. I recommend an extra shirt in case you need to change. Pants should fit the waist or hips. Wear a belt if necessary. Ladies, please wear shorts or briefs under skirts or dresses. Shoes should be light on your feet and smooth on the bottom. Closed toed with straps or laces are best. Heels and men's dress shoes are welcome. Chunky sneakers are not. No perfume or cologne. Wear extra deodorant, this is dance class! This is a guide to get you started. Should you have any questions please send us a message!
