God after the Holocaust: A Jewish Perspective (Zoom Topical Study)
Details
We'll be reading Elie Wiesel's 1997 New York Times Opinions piece "A Prayer for the Days of Awe." In it, Wiesel reflects on his relationship with God in the decades after the Holocaust and explores what it means to forgive God for atrocities. In addition to reflecting on Wiesel's writing, we will reflect on how anti-Semitism continues to play out in Christian spaces.
