Sorry, Spirits. Not enough people have confirmed, and there is also too much going on on DC this weekend, so we will reschedule.

Welcome new Spirits, old Spirits, young Spirits, young at heart Spirits, Maryland Spirits, District Spirits, Virginia Spirits, Democrat Spirits, Republican Spirits, ANYTHING Spirits. If you have a desire to help your community and make strong friendships while you do so, then YOU are welcome.

If you want free food and drink, please come get to know the other Spirits and discuss plans for our first volunteer activities. Hopefully the weather will be beautiful and we can enjoy the grass and beautiful view of the flowers and buildings. Should you feel like bringing a dish, drink, etc., let me know (but, by all means, do not feel pressured to do so). And, of course, feel free to bring as many friends as you'd like, even if they are not necessarily interested in joining. Your friends are our friends.

Should you have a problem with the time/location, also feel free to let me know. If it cannot be accommodated then I and a few others will gladly meet with you for dinner, drinks, etc.
