Open Data Day 2025

Open Data Day (ODD) is an annual celebration of open data all over the world. Groups from likely every country create local events on the day where they will use open data in their communities. ODD is maintained and supported by the Open Knowledge Foundation (OKFN) through the Open Knowledge Network.

On March 15, 2025, we invite you to celebrate Open Data Day together in Timisoara!

Unlike past editions, this will no longer be a predominantly technical hackathon-type event. Instead, there will be parallel workshops focusing on the interdisciplinary aspect of access to information and the relevance of Open Data in the current context.

At the end of the event, the results of four working groups will be presented: Public Administration, Academia, Journalism and Business.
