Support 1736 and play poker with our celebrity hosts, Jason Alexander, Daena Title, Brian Herskowitz and Gina Hecht, in our Playing For Brighter Tomorrows Celebrity Poker Tournament.
Have fun while you learn more about 1736 and its mission. It’s sure to be a blast for both poker players and nonplayers - entertainment, food, drink, and silent auction while players compete in the ultimate poker fundraiser. Prizes for the top 10 winners.
Celebrity Hosts: director/actor - Jason Alexander, his wife, artist - Daena Title, film producer - Brian Herskowitz, actor - Gina Hecht, and former MLB player and 1736 board member - Chase d'Arnaud.
When: Saturday, February 7, 2026, 12 noon. Poker Lessons 12:30 pm. Gaming begins 1:00 pm
Where: Manhattan Beach Community Church, 303 South Peck Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
Game: Texas Hold'em - as this is a nonprofit event there are no cash prizes but the last 10 players in the final game will win a prize up to $500 per California regulations.
Tickets: $100 to play poker; $75 to attend as nonplayer.

This event is being held in accordance with California Business and Professions Code sections 19985-19987 allowing nonprofits to hold a charity poker fundraiser. No cash prizes are being awarded. All donations go directly to 1736 Family Crisis Center.
