Details

Meet Roger Williams at the place where he founded Providence in 1636! Well, Park Ranger John McNiff, who knows more about Williams than just about anyone, will be there to channel Williams and tell you how this wild town began. Then walk to where Williams' house once stood on the way
to the bridge where he served as a toll-taker in 1680 before returning to the Visitors' Center for a short video about the impact of his life and thought on the founding of America.
