About us

Based in Liège. we explore urban and outdoor gems throughout the Euregio Meuse-Rhine and beyond.

Adventures may include hiking, trekking, camping, cycling, paddling, sailing, city exploration and social gatherings.

Some adventures will take us through forests, along waterways, across border regions, nature reserves and lesser-known landscapes.
Others will lead us through cities, museums, quaint cafés and public spaces.

Some activities may take place entirely in a single language (FR, EN, NL or DE), while others may adapt naturally to the adventurers present.

Communication is part of the experience. While each event will indicate its primary language, linguistic boundaries need not prevent us from meeting, participating or exploring together.

The common thread is simple:
• Discover places and perspectives
• Meet kindred spirits and get fresh air
• Share meaningful experiences

We care about the places we visit and aim to behave responsibly and respectfully toward the environment, local communities and fellow participants.

Participation in 180° South adventures is voluntary.
180° South is a community group and not a professional guide service. Event organisers act as facilitators of shared experiences. They should not be assumed to be professional guides, instructors or trip leaders.

Adventure involves risk. Trail conditions, weather, terrain, wildlife, equipment failures and human factors can change unexpectedly. Being prepared and exercising good judgment are part of the experience.

Adventurers are expected to assess their own abilities, health, equipment and comfort level before joining an activity.

Each adventurer remains responsible for their own decisions, safety and well-being while contributing to a safe and enjoyable experience for the group as a whole.
