PLEASE READ! THIS MONTH WE ARE DOING BOOK CLUB ON THE SECOND THURSDAY OF THE MONTH! The Globe Pub invites anyone and everyone to join our beer and book club. Our goal is to bring people together over books and beer to make new friends. Join us on the First Thursday of every month. Start time is 7pm. January's book is "Martyr!" by Kaveh Akbar. Here is a brief synopsis: A newly sober, orphaned son of Iranian immigrants, guided by the voices of artists, poets, and kings, embarks on a remarkable search for a family secret that leads him to a terminally ill painter living out her final days in the Brooklyn Museum.
