Welcome back, Best Beloveds.

This is the event originally scheduled for 24 January.

We draw on the inspiration of the last event in 2014 to invite you to play and create a new Sufi poem or two. There is a tradition of opening a sacred book and reading the first thing to find answers...We have refined this by cutting out lines from Sufi poems and scattering them amongst the audience. And after a brief meditation, you are invited to speak a word, line, feeling that comes to you. Amazingly, a new poem is created that vibrates with the synergy in the room.

Above is the result of the chance poem that we tried in December.

As always the floor is open to original spiritual poetry, or read out one of the selected poems.

Ending with a Sufi zikr- a traditional meditation of remembrance with chanting, movement, breathing, and music, which closes with prayers for humanity and the planet.

Please note: the Sufi zikr at approximately 9pm is FREE and you are welcome only to come for the zikr.
