Which XR hardware should we keep an eye on, as technologies continue to evolve? Which AR/VR headsets are the most popular and currently on the market? What are the leading hardware trends in the XR space, and why are they so popular?

Join us for an event discussing and learning about leading XR hardware, from headsets to haptic suits and XR glasses.

Our speaker for this meetup is Ben Delaney, the CEO and Chief Analyst at ImmersivEdge Advisors, based in Oakland. Ben has been working in the computer graphics industry since the 1980s, and is considered a pioneer in virtual reality. Ben has worked extensively in the virtual and augmented reality sector as a business executive, market researcher, advisor, and entrepreneur.

Since the Oculus DK1 made its debut to aspiring developers in 2013, peripheral hardware available to consumers and enterprise has exploded. With so many options to work with, what really makes or breaks a piece of XR hardware? The different functions and technologies associated with each HMD (head-mounted display) present a plethora of unique devices that excel for some use cases, but are limited for others.

In this meetup, we will dig into the details of the last trends and technologies in the XR hardware space.

Join Ben and other professionals in the XR space as we explore the rapidly evolving, complicated, and fascinating world of XR hardware and discuss the past, present, and future trends.
