Announcing the Light Up the Hills Rally - Regional Motorcycle Retreat -
Texas

Hey fellow Christian motorcycle enthusiasts, are you ready? The
organizers of the Light Up the Hills National Rallies that have been held the last couple of years at the infamous Buffalo Chip Campground in Sturgis, SD are moving into the next phase of our ministry, the Regional Retreat. As we move into this phase our intention is the same as with the national events, that is to provide a Christ-centered venue where Christian bikers, individuals, church riding groups, biker churches or motorcycle ministries, can come together in a Christ-like witness to the community and surrounding communities for praise and worship and to get spiritually fed, led and encouraged.

Our first annual regional retreat will be held in our home state of Texas at
The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden in Kerrville, TX on September
13th & 14th, 2019 and the event itself is free of charge. Kerrville is a lovely
community nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country and home to some of the finest motorcycling roads in Texas. The event is structured to provide plenty of time for riding the roads during the days and will feature some guided rides for those who may not be familiar with the area, including a Jericho Ride on Saturday, for those who would like to participate. Of course, our prayer is that folks will use the riding times for furthering their own ministries, building relationships and friendships and capitalizing on the ideal opportunity this event will provide for reaching that undecided person.

The evenings will be filled with praise and worship at The Coming King
Sculpture Prayer Garden. Worship music will be provided by The Broken
Chains Praise and Blues Revue Band both Friday and Saturday night. The
award-winning Christian comic, Elijah Tindall will keep us all in stitches with his high-energy comedy and presentation of the gospel on Friday night. Saturday night will feature Kenneth “Doc” Dennis, Senior Pastor of the Full Armor Fellowship biker church in Decatur, TX. Doc, an extremely
successful church planter, has a passion and commitment for winning souls for Christ and his dynamic delivery of God’s holy word is sure to provide a fabulous spiritual feeding for the follower of Christ and a virtually irresistible invitation to those that are yet undecided. Both evening events will conclude with an alter call.

Make your plans now to attend this event. There are numerous hotels and
RV campgrounds in Kerrville and the surrounding communities. September is an extremely popular month for riding in the Texas Hill Country and lodging will fill quickly. If you think you’d like to come to this event we encourage you to go ahead and make your reservations - most of the hotels and campgrounds will have fairly liberal cancelation policies. Be sure to check out our brochure in the photo section for this event. It will contain contact info for some of the hotels and campgrounds in Kerrville and the surrounding communities. Some have been gracious enough to offer a special rate for our event, so be sure to ask when making your reservations if there is a rate for the Light Up the Hills Regional Retreat!
